Responsibilities
The Quapaw Tribal Museum is open to the public. We welcome everyone and invite them to come and enjoy the artifacts and learn about the history and traditions of the Quapaw people.
The objective of the museum is to preserve traditions and life ways of the Quapaw Tribe.
The Tribal Museum is responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation, installation, and maintenance of the museum artifacts
- Coordinating cultural activities
- Providing information to visitors about Tribal history, culture, and traditions
Contributions
The Quapaw Museum is accepting donations and loans of artifacts and pictures for display.
Original Tribal Allottees Information Wanted
The Quapaw Tribal Cultural Committee is compiling a list of the original Quapaw Tribal allottees to be displayed at the museum. Contributors are asked to submit information about the allottees plus any pictures that they might have. Information and pictures may be sent to or dropped off at the Museum or submitted online using the Original Allottee Information Form.
