Overview
The Downstream Learning Center (DLC) is a childcare center that is open children ages six weeks to 12 years. Please call the DLC to determine the cost for your child to attend.
The Downstream Learning Center (DLC) provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment that meets the health, safety, and emotional needs of children. Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services (OKDHS). The staff has also reached a Two Star status by OKDHS. The OKDHS Star's program is a Quality Rating and Improvement System for child care facilities. Three Stars being the highest is achieved by becoming accredited, which is a future goal of the DLC.
The DLC accepts subsidies from Tribal ChildCare Development Fund (CCDF) Programs. The CCDF Program assists low-income Native American families with the cost of paying for childcare while at work, school or training.
DLC offers breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and evening snack. Cots are provided for children to sleep in the evenings while parent(s) are working. Services at Downstream Learning Center have been provided since 2011.
