Pottery Class

Thursday, May 24

The Cultural Committee is hosting pottery classes taught by professional potter Jane Osti, a Cherokee National Treasure. Osti has won awards nationally and been recognized throughout the United States for her outstanding pottery. Currently, her pottery is on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. A problem occurred with the shipping company, and some of the tools didn't arrive on time. Therefore, the FIRST (only) class will cancelled for May 23 and 24 and will be rescheduled at a later date. After Jane Osti's availability is determined, the class will be rescheduled. If you signed up for the evening classes on June 6 and 7, they will be held at the scheduled time. Please watch the website and the tribe's official Facebook page, O-Gah-Pah for rescheduled dates and times. The Cultural Committee apologizes for any inconvenience. For more information, please call the tribal office at 918.542.1853.
