EMT Courses Offered

The Quapaw Nation Fire/EMS will be offering an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course beginning September 16, 2019. The class will be Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The course is approximately six months long and have a possibility of classes on Saturday.

A flat fee of $1,000 per student is required to cover the cost of books, labs and other materials. For individuals associated with a fire department, the cost is $500. Quapaw Nation members and Quapaw Nation employees are exempt from the course fee; therefore, we encourage all tribal members, as well as tribal employees, to enroll.  Students will be required to make a $300 payment on the first day of class.

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older by the end of the course. All payments must be check or money order made out to Quapaw Nation Fire and EMS. Cash will NOT be accepted. The last day to enroll in the EMT course is September 5, 2019.
