Quapaw Language
The Quapaw Language has been passed down from our elders; and is currently being taught in language classes at the Tribal Museum. Please check the calendar for details.

Quapaw Language Online Lessons
Beginning level Quapaw language are now available online:


*NOTE - Apple product users (iPhone, iPad, iPod and iPod Touch) will need to download  an app that will allow videos containing Flash to play. These apps can be found free or for a minimal charge in the App Store.

A handy reference guide is also available on-line.

Quapaw Language DVD's
The Quapaw Language DVD, Speak O-Gah-Pah featuring tribal elder and long-time language teacher Ardina Moore is available free of charge to each enrolled tribal family.

Any non tribal member wishing to order a dvd may do so at a cost of $20 per dvd.

There will be an $8 shipping/handling charge for each DVD that needs to be shipped (for both tribal members and non tribal members).

 DVD's will be shipped when available.

Quapaw Audio Lexicon
This is an English to Quapaw word and sentence list. The audio files in this list are from our first language speakers that have passed on.  These individual's first language was Quapaw and they learned English as they got older or were sent away to school.  These audio files are meant to compliment the hard work and efforts of our Quapaw Language Program teachers and students.
